The Kids Quilt Project

KQP is a unique combination of teachers, volunteers and sponsors who reach into the community to give school-aged children the opportunity to learn to quilt. The project extends to public and private school classrooms, Girl Scout Troops, and home-school groups. If you are interested in participating in KQP, click below for additional information.

Janome America

Our newest sponsor donated Jem Platinum 760 sewing machines to the Kids Quilt Program. These wonderful machines will be used by many children in our area for years to come. Because the machines are portable, volunteers will be able to move them from classroom to classroom, and the results will be happy, proud faces on students who have learned to sew and make quilts!

EduQuilters, Inc.
is a group of quilters committed to sharing their passion for quilting with the children of our community and with other quilters by holding programs and classes on quilting and related subjects.

Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to educate in the art, techniques and traditions of quilting.

Membership
Membership is open to anyone committed to the organization's goals who will volunteer a minimum of 30 hours per year assisting with the educational projects, on or behind the scene. Annual dues are $15.

Donations
EduQuilters is a 501 (C)(3) organization.
Donations are tax deductible.
